National Parking Association Elects Impark’s Julian Jones to Board of Directors
The National Parking Association (NPA) announced the election of Julian Jones, senior vice president of business development with Impark, to its board of directors.
In his current role, he is a member of the executive management team and responsible for the development of new corporate strategies and initiatives throughout North America. Jones previously served at Impark on the senior management as the vice president of business development and earlier as vice president of Western Canada/Central Canada. He has held management roles with Impark since 1992. Jones has been an NPA member since 1992 and has served on numerous leadership teams and national steering committees.
NPA President Christine Banning, CAE, said, “Julian brings strong management, technology, parking industry and marketing expertise to NPA’s Board of Directors. His leadership as part of NPA’s National Convention Program Planning Committee and as an advisor on research, best practices and technology innovation represent a significant contribution of thought leadership within the parking industry.”
Jones leads major business development opportunities development, providing marketing and new business support to the regional teams, coordinating new business company-wide, marketing initiatives and corporate branding, as well as supporting technology innovation programs. He is also responsible for media relations and external communications.
Prior to joining Impark, Jones held a variety of commercial and residential property management roles in the United Kingdom and Canada. Jones earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Dundee, Scotland, and a postgraduate diploma in business studies from the London School of Economics.
