Nagels Druck receives FSC certification
In December 2011 Nagels Druck GmbH was officially certified in accordance with the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). By using only FSC-certified materials , the company makes another contribution to the environmental protection and careful handling of natural resources.
The certification audit in accordance with the FCS standard of CoC (Chain of Custody) was carried out by the Chief Auditor Ludwig Artmeyer of SGS Hamburg on 29.11.2011. The audit was based on the requirements laid down by the international ISO 9001:2000 Regulation for Quality Management Systems.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international, not-for-profit organisation, which developed the first certification system for forest management. Companies that wish to obtain the FSC- certification must meet certain specified criteria and global standards, such as economic and environmental sustainability, in the procurement, use and processing of raw materials in the chain of custody.
