MobileNOW! Well-received in City of Easton, PA; Mayor Boasts the Benefits of Parking by App

MobileNOW!, the global technology innovator with the world’s most flexible mobile payment solution for parking, was highlighted in the City of Easton, Pennsylvania Mayor’s 2016 Budget Address as a solution that enhances convenience for downtown parkers, boosts parking revenue, and reduces or eliminates parking citations for downtown visitors.

MobileNOW! implemented mobile payment in metered on-street parking in downtown Easton in mid-2015. Since the launch in June, user adoption and mobile payment revenue has grown rapidly.

Drivers in Easton may pay for parking using the free MobileNOW! app, or by calling a local phone number using the MobileNOW! IVR system. In real time, parkers may extend their sessions remotely from anywhere, without the hassle of returning to a meter.

MobileNOW! payment and transaction data is available in real time to Easton enforcement officers using Kelley & Ryan provided handheld devices and parking enforcement application. Parking enforcement personnel may view up-to-the-minute information on their handheld ticket writer, resulting in more accurate and efficient parking enforcement.
