IP Parking Wins European Tender to Install 500 EV-Chargers in Utrecht
IP Parking is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the European tender by the city of Utrecht. This significant project will involve installing at least 500 electric vehicle (EV) chargers across multiple parking facilities, creating a seamless Park & Charge experience in the city and marking a significant step toward sustainable urban mobility.
This project goes beyond just installing EV chargers. True to our innovative spirit, IP Parking presents a unique and forward-thinking charging solution that grants our clients complete control over their charging infrastructure and introduces a compelling new business model. This revolutionary approach has been developed in collaboration with BlueMarble Charging through our joint venture, IP Charging.
Our solution consists of the installation of EV chargers, including remote service and maintenance, and features fully client-controlled Charge Point Management System (CPMS) software. This CPMS empowers our clients to manage their charging infrastructure independently and determine their consumer tariffs without the involvement of external companies, exactly like our parking software. This contrasts with the current market situation, where the final consumer tariffs are set by various e-MSPs, leaving operators with hardly any control over their own EV-charging business.
In addition to the CPMS, we are developing an e-Mobility Service Provider (e-MSP) solution for our clients. This solution will enable consumers to seamlessly activate chargers and pay for the electricity they use. The IP Charging Park-Charge-Pay concept integrates parking and EV charging, providing a superior customer experience characterized by transparency, fair pricing, and total control for our clients.
The development and implementation of our Park-Charge-Pay solution show our commitment to innovation and sustainability. By providing effortless parking and charging, we aim to enhance consumer experience while offering our clients an attractive business model.
Are you interested in providing a superior charging experience for your guests while increasing your profitability? IP Parking is here to help!
