INDECT Announces Management Reorganization of its USA Division
INDECT Electronics & Distribution GMBH, the world’s leading parking guidance system development company, recently announced the promotion of Stephen Evans of its INDECT USA Division to take over its U.S. Operations.
This comes on the heels of the former company director, Dale Fowler’s, decision to relocate back to Australia at the end of this year, according to Ingo Herwich, INDECT COO. “Dale put us on the US map when he opened the INDECT USA office in 2013. We are extremely grateful for his contributions in building the foundation for INDECT in North America,” said Herwich. “Dale has offered to stay through December to help Stephen with the transition.”
Mr. Evans was the first employee hired by Fowler and began as a project engineer. As the company grew, Stephen’s role expanded into technical sales, estimating and installation network support. “I am extremely excited for this opportunity and look forward to taking INDECT USA to the next chapter,” said Evans. “So far in 2019, we’ve had double-digit sales growth and have built several months of backlog that will carry us well into next year.”
INDECT USA’s growth has been largely based on its sales and installation network that focuses strictly on parking guidance technology. “We’ve been very selective with who we allow to represent our technology,” added Evans. “It’s critical that our sales and installation partners possess a high level of product knowledge, technical skill, and support after the sale. I believe it’s what sets us apart from the competition.”
