HUB and ACE Parking at Baptist Health System

HUB Parking Technology USA was recently awarded the contract to replace the 21-lane PARC system at five garages and one surface lot for the Baptist Health System in San Antonio, TX. Baptist Health System has a reputation for graduating highly competent and caring health care professionals, and over 110 years of history!

Included in a list of "Best Regional Hospitals" by U.S. News & World Report for 2020-2021, the medical system includes five hospitals, each with a parking garage, and one 'doctors only' surface lot.

The five hospitals are: Baptist Medical Center, Mission Trail, Northeast Baptist, St. Luke's Baptist and North Central Baptist. They are rated as high performing in eight adult procedures and conditions including, among others, congestive heart failure, colon cancer surgery and COPD.

The PARCS project includes 21 lanes of equipment across six parking facilities: 7 Barcode Lane Entry Stations, 5 Barcode Exit Stations, 1 Cash/Credit Pay-on-Foot Pay Station, 9 Contract-only pedestal-mounted Proximity Readers and 21 gates.

JPass mobile app will be utilized for the purchase and self-management of 5-day visitor parking passes and the system also includes Pinhole cameras and VoIP intercom to help serve customers who may need help in any given lane. Customers may use the "Wave for Ticket" option in the lane for a touchless parking experience.

A central server environment will be utilized for JMS, so all monitoring from the six remote locations will all be controlled centrally.
