HONK Contactless Parking Arrives at The University of Manitoba

Starting immediately, drivers can use their phones to pay for parking with the HONK mobile app (HONKAPP) or by scanning a QR code displayed on-site to access rate options, enter license plate, and choose parking time. This unique scan-to-park feature (HONKTAP) activates a guest checkout page that eliminates the need for app downloads or accounts. Through both payment options, drivers can opt-in to receive text reminders before their parking session ends and can extend time directly from their phone. 

Both mobile solutions maximize convenience by allowing campus-goers to pay for parking with Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Interac Debit, and all major credit cards. All HONK parking solutions sync smoothly with the University of Manitoba’s internal systems.
