Park-IT Signs Its First North American Contract with Vancouver International Airport (YVR)

Park-IT, the leader in parking optimisation software, has signed its first North American contract with Vancouver International Airport (YVR). The contract will provide YVR with a bespoke end-to-end solution to manage their parking operation.

It may only be three years old but Park-IT’s growth has been rapid and they now provide the software that powers some of the largest block parking operations in the UK. With over 30 operating bases in the UK and Germany already, Park-IT continues to grow and the YVR contract provides an exciting first step into the North American market.

Earlier this year, YVR announced $9.1 billion in capital construction projects including the addition of a new valet parking option. The facility will utilise a parking management system and combine self-service technology with over 3,000 block park spaces, helping to expand the portfolio of parking products on offer.

Park-IT was awarded the contract for the valet parking management system that will deliver a vehicle damage capture system, self-service kiosks and lockers as well as the core operating platform.
