The Black Forest beckons and (almost) everyone comes along

The sales conference took place in the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Schluchsee, only twelve kilometres from the company's headquarters in Bonndorf. The decision was a lucky choice since the guests really loved the ambiance. Stefan Forster, Hectronics Managing Director, welcomed about 50 participants in the hotels large conference room. He started with praising the good cooperation with the partners. Stefan Forster also looks forward to the future with renewed optimism despite the initial recession in 2009. The subsequent workshops were also very well received. A coach took the group to Henslerhof in Titisee in the evening. The participants found in the 450 year old farmhouse (restored with all its period features) traditional Black Forest ambiance, a delicious buffet, great music and last but not least the incomparable Farmer Hoss, who encouraged his selected helpers to saw wood, hammer and yodel. The unplanned visit of a schnapps museum the coach broke down is sure to be remembered by everyone. The next day, the guests went for a tour of the Hectronic headquarters. After a final buffet it was time to say farewell for this time. We are already looking forward to seeing you all again.

After dinner, everyone was on tender hooks regarding the outcome of the "Partner of the Year" competition. And the winner was Electro Automation from Ireland. Donal O'Hagan, Head of Sales, was simultaneously surprised and proud. An important part of the conference were the speeches by external speakers in addition to those held by the Hectronic team. Jürgen Göbel (Global Product Marketing) and Klaus Orthofer (Sales Manager) at Hypercom, Alexander Schümperli, Managing Director at ePark and Paul Collins of Metereye provided a lot of interesting information.
