Parking management via smartphone

With its CityLine app, Hectronic has introduced something completely new onto the market. The CityLine app enables cities and local authorities to manage their parking in an even more convenient, efficient way. Using the CityLine app, it's now possible to do while out on the road what could previously only be done using a computer or notebook. In future, parking managers will be able to access operating status (paper stocks, technical status etc.) in just a few clicks via their smartphone or tablet PC. If a message is particularly urgent (e.g. paper roll run out) a push message informs the parking manager, even when the app is not actually running. The application supports many of the smartphones and tablet PCs currently available: Android smartphones, Apple iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxy tablet.

Electromobility made real

Hectronic will be exhibiting its integrated charging infrastructure solution for the first time at Intertraffic 2012 in Amsterdam, consisting of a parking ticket machine and a charging pole. Whereas in many cities, a lengthy and bureaucratic registration process is required, the Hectronic system solution allows for the use of existing Hectronic parking ticket machines for the billing and activation of charging poles. Using Hectronic's system, drivers of electric cars can pay conveniently at the parking ticket machine before they "fill up" their car with electricity. The system is extremely user-friendly, safe and requires only little investment. As part of a pilot programme in Frankfurt am Main, 11 Hectronic charging system solutions have already been successfully installed.

With its Citea parking ticket machine with 6.5" TFT touchscreen display (LCD), Hectronic will be presenting a further new product in the company's portfolio. The TFT resistive touch screen (LCD) impresses through its uncluttered, flexibly designed user interface. Through the touchscreen display, Hectronic enhances user friendliness, creates an attractive promotional space and turns parking ticket machines into modern operating and communications systems.
