Smart Parking – made by Hectronic

Our towns and city centres are packed with vehicles. On-street parking spaces become an increasingly scarce and valuable resource. To solve this problem efficient and effective parking space management solutions are needed. These solutions have to be flexible enough to meet the individual requirements of the situation and should be interesting from an economic point of view as well.

Thanks to their modular design, the Citea and CiteaMax parking ticket machines can be easily configured to suit a wide variety of needs, including many country-specific requirements for payment and communication functions. Payment methods using NFC technology, such as PayWave, PayPass or City Cards, are available as Mifare Standard. Of course applications of PayWave and PayPass for contactless payment by credit card are also on offer.

Each Citea and CiteaMax parking ticket machine is equipped with a large, solar autonomous 8-inch TFT touch display and combines an intuitive user guidance dialogue with display and push button operation. Additional functions, such as the option to enter a specific registration number or parking space or extend the parking time (add up time), come with clear and easy-to-follow directions.

The menu design, with customer-specific logos, pictograms or advertising texts, is locally programmed by CityLine and sent to the machine by data transfer.

Numerous online web services for extra customer benefits, including the assignment of residents’ parking rights, for instance, are available via the CityNet platform. CityNet is a multi-tenant service system for dynamic inquiry of parking rights, such as discounts or time credits, to name but two options.

The web-based parking space management system CityLine controls and monitors all Citea and CiteaMax parking ticket machines in operation with complete transparency. Its handling is easy and self-explanatory: it only takes a few clicks to call up the function modules for live monitoring, configuration, reports and statistics, as well as promotions, notifications and any other information required.

Interfaces with third party systems for an enforcement system connection can be provided via standard web services. CityLine is future-proof. Its HTML5 technology supports all modern terminal devices, including tablets and smartphones.

There are CityLine apps and CityLine services that display the operating status of all linked machines at any time and all over the world. Parking spaces where the parking time has expired can be highlighted easily via push notification. The scope of application also includes apps for mobile payment without prior registration.
