When we analysed our sales in the past, we noticed that up to 20 percent of the sold goods were not paid for. This amount has been drastically reduced. The customer used to pay for the goods by putting money into a metal
tin. Those days are over. Now, the customer has to enter the relevant amount into
the keypad and then pay. And he then receives a receipt. He can pay with coins, banknotes but also with a Maestro or Postcard. The farm shop operator can check the transaction data directly on his PC, follow payments online and intervene if necessary. I am thrilled with all these new possibilities, says Georges Tanner happily.
