Hectronic GmbH: Contract about 750 parking ticket machines
Thanks to the energy and determination of its long-term trading partner Rauwers Controle, which has been established in Belgium for almost 100 years, Hectronic was been awarded its largest ever parking ticket machine contract. The contract covered the production of 750 marking ticket machines for the municipality of Forest in Brussels, where Rauwers Controle now has a 65% market share in the Brussels region.
These parking ticket machines were supplied and installed in a record time of 50 calendar days. They are equipped with both a solar module and an EMV card reader and feature our internet-based CityLine management software. The municipality of Forest has opted for personalised documents in the town colours which are made out in people’s names and which can be repeatedly topped up.
The innovation of this parking ticket machine is its good visibility, as it benefits from numerous innovative elements including an illuminated P sign and an Eyedol module with a backlit information display, in red or green depending on the parking zone. The CITEA parking ticket machine installed in the municipality of Forest is so easily visible that other municipalities in Belgium have already expressed great interest in it.
