First Hectronic electric recharging station has been put into operation in Frankfurt
The start has begun and electric cars can now refuel with electricity at Hectronic's parking ticket machines in the Rhine-Main-region. At the beginning of December 2010, three new Hectronic parking ticket machines with recharging function for electric vehicles were launched in Frankfurt/Main.
Frankfurt's mayor Petra Roth took the opportunity to personally start the operation of this system solution which is unique in Germany.
"Frankfurt is one of the pioneers in terms of electro-mobility in Germany. The systems that have been unveiled today mark another milestone",
says Petra Roth, Mayor of the City of Frankfurt/Main.
Hectronic GmbH and Younicos AG have joined forces in the electro-mobility sector and have the joint aim to provide a future-proof recharging solution for "Electricity recharging for electric vehicles" and to position themselves as strategic partners in the market place. Whilst electrical recharging in other cities is full of bureaucratic registration effort, Hectronic's and Younicos' innovative system solution can be activated and paid for easily via the parking ticket machine. Both companies see this as the future of user friendly electro-mobility.
