Citea meets LAPI System

The French affiliate of Hectronic has succeeded in setting up successful collaboration arrangements with AFS2R. The main goal of this cooperation is to ensure compatibility between the modern Hectronic Citea parking ticket terminals and the LAPI automatic car registration querying system from AFS2R.

To be more exact, the scanning of the registration numbers of all parked cars by placing the cameras on the roofs of police cars is child‘s play. Practically all those who have exceeded the due parking time can be determined by the parallel checking between ASF2R and Hectronic CityLine servers.

The Citea parking ticket terminals are all equipped with an alphanumeric keyboard so that the parker can very easily input his own registration number before he gets the ticket.

This innovative solution has already been well received in France. In 2016 alone, Hectronic France put this intelligent solution into operation in to the towns of St. Denis and Aubervilliers, which represented 300 Citeas in terms of actual terminals.
