Acquisition of the Business Activities of Kienzle Argo GmbH
With effect from 1 June 2018, Hectronic Vertriebs- und Service GmbH has taken over the filling technology and on-street parking system divisions of Kienzle Argo GmbH. Three staff of Kienzle Argo GmbH will continue to be employed in the Berlin branch of Hectronic Vertriebs- und Service GmbH.
Kienzle Argo GmbH, which focuses on the sale and servicing of devices and systems in the automotive industry, has been active as a sales partner for Hectonic in Berlin and the new federal states for many years. With the acquisition by Hectronic, Kienzle Argo completely withdraws from both system areas.
Existing customer contracts, e.g. maintenance and service contracts are seamlessly taken over by Hectronic. This includes the parking space management of the Berlin districts, Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Tempelhof-Schöneberg, Steglitz-Zehlendorf and Spandau with over 1,500 parking ticket machines. In addition to parking space management in the aforementioned districts, the tender in Berlin Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg was recently won with another nearly 300 machines.
With the acquisition of both system areas, the Hectronic subsidiary is further expanding its presence. With a total of 25 members of staff at four locations – Oberhausen, Bremen, Berlin, Leipzig – concentrated expertise is available which will also serve our customers in the future of parking management.
Andreas Daubitz, Branch Manager of VSG Ost states: "From now on, we are no longer just a supplier, support provider and service provider, but in order to be able to offer our customers a complete range of services for on-street parking, we also have comprehensive expertise in the field of parking management. A correct and, above all, future-oriented step, in which we see ourselves in an excellent position."
