GO TO-U App Partners with PRE, Czech Republic's Energy Operator

GO TO-U is committed to making the charging of electric vehicles a process that is confident, comfortable, and simple. One of the features of our app is the vast amount of charging stations, totaling to 330,000 chargers in 17,500 locations across 64 countries worldwide. This was made possible by connecting a number of operators, one of which is the operator PRE from the Czech Republic.

PRE, an abbreviation for Pražská energetika, is a Czech national energy company that has been operating since 1994. PRE provides electricity supply services for private and industrial needs (680,000 clients), carries out the sale and maintenance of electrical equipment, certification in the field of energy audits, and more. The company also operates in the electric transport sector: it has its own charging network, offers services for installing charging stations at home, sells and rents electric bikes and scooters.

The public charging network of the company, which has its own name PRE Point, covers key public places in the Czech Republic. Most locations with charging stations are located in parking lots. As of today, there are 1,228 charging stations of the PRE operator available in the GO TO-U app. These are stations of various power types: alternating current at 22 kW, direct current up to 75 kW, as well as rapid charging stations with a power of 150 kW and above.

A distinctive feature is the ability to monitor the status of the charging station in real-time. Thanks to our unique "Active Monitoring" feature, drivers receive notifications about the change of connector status - "free/busy". This allows for planning the charging session and adjusting the travel route with maximum accuracy, saving time.

You can monitor the status of up to 3 stations at once, with a maximum monitoring duration of 12 hours.

The GO TO-U app is available for download in the Play Market (for Android-based smartphones) and the App Store (for iOS-based devices).
