Streamlined Retail Partnerships with Get My Parking

Smart parking innovator Get My Parking introduces new features for Retail Parking partnerships

Smart parking innovator Get My Parking introduces new features for Retail Parking partnerships. The solutions are designed to help operators enhance alternative revenue streams by partnering up with retail shops in and around their parking locations.

Retail partnerships allow shop-owners to offer free or discounted parking to their visitors and employees. These parking privileges are provided in the form of validations distributed to customers after they complete their payments at the shop. The invoices for these validations or customized permits are usually calculated in bulk and sent to the partner towards the end of the billing cycle.

For operators with thousands of permit-holders, managing numerous partner accounts and permits can be a lot of work. Most existing account receivables software require parking admins to organically input details about the validations to generate invoices. If the partner has any updates regarding account details, it has to be updated manually before the database is updated. This incessant back and forth slows down the invoicing process and subsequently the parking business.

With Get My Parking’s solutions, it is easier for partners to manage all their accounts and partnership in a single place. With our Partner User Portal, retail partners can view, edit and manage their users and validations through a user-friendly interface. The updates will be synchronized across the database, available to all stakeholders. This self-serve feature avoids inaccuracies and unnecessary communication between account managers, effectively streamlining the whole process.

The solution also makes the distribution of validations easier, since the promo codes can be displayed to the customer through the partner portal. These validations may offer a few minutes of free parking or a flat amount of discount from the final bill amount for the parking session.

The parker can return to their cars after their visit to the retailers and apply the promo code they received while checking out of the car park. The GMP platform’s post-pay feature makes sure that the parker receives the full benefit of the validation. This encourages visitors both to the car park and to the retail shop.

Using the GMP platform, retailers can offer customized parking discounts to their customers and employees. Employees can purchase permits that can be used in nearby parking lots, paid for by their retail employers. These customized permits can be entirely free or offered at a subsidized rate. The final amount will be automatically calculated by our software towards the end of the billing cycle. The bulk invoices will be generated as per schedule and will reflect on the retail partner’s portal.

Using Get My Parking’s solutions, retail partnerships can be streamlined and enhanced. Check out our complete suite of products, designed to maximize the productivity and profitability of your parking business.
