GMP QR Crosses 70,000 Transactions in Just Three Months Post Launch

Get My Parking’s new product, GMP QR, has crossed over 70,000 transactions in under three months of deployment in Florida, USA. GMP QR enables contactless and ticket-less payment for parking without the need for an app.

A parking operator from the US has a network of parking garages and lots that provide a variety of services to visitors. They were seeking to enable faster, digital, and ticketless payment methods at their properties, preferably through mobile web portals in order to provide a smoother parking experience. They wanted a suitable solution deployed as soon as possible while ensuring that speed, user experience, and reliability were not compromised.

The properties were digitized using GMP QR, enabling self-serviced payment for parking without downloading a mobile app. The entire white label solution was customized and deployed in just two days after the contract was finalized. The QR code redirects parkers to a custom-branded web app to get started with their session with just the mobile numbers. After entering their license plate number and credit card information, parkers can pay for their session in just a few seconds.

Parkers also receive automated reminders via SMS/Email on session expiry, along with a link to extend their stay without returning to the parking lot. Invoices are sent on their registered email IDs.

The operator can now keep track of data regarding transactions and active users on the centralized admin dashboard. They can also set up promo codes, discounts, and customized tariffs for their parkers while getting dialed, customized reports.

GMP QR proved to be the ideal solution for the parking operator as within six days, there were over 1400 sessions initiated every day. And now over 70,000 transactions completed in just under three months of deployment. Parkers now experience a faster and hassle-free payment process, while the operator has a clearer idea of all active users and transactions that occur at their parking lot.
