Get My Parking Incorporates US Subsidiary
Get My Parking has incorporated its new subsidiary in the US as it continues to grow its global footprint aggressively. With the company’s newly opened office in New Jersey, the smart mobility pioneer is positioned to add to the list of parking operators they serve in the North American market.
This latest expansion move is supported by GMP’s partnership with ParkTrans, an American smart city solution provider that brings the latest technology to its American clients. As a part of this partnership, Kevin Woznicki and Christopher Perry, the Principal Partners of ParkTrans, have represented Get My Parking. The company is on a recruiting sprint to build its team in the US, focusing majorly on hiring talented sales professionals.
Traditional local-server-based parking hardware operates in silos and is not compatible with third party apps or software. In today’s new-age mobility landscape, parking operators need an ecosystem of integrated hardware and software to deliver a safe, digital and contactless consumer experience. Get My Parking (GMP) provides all that with its white-label software-as-a-service to integrate operator’s existing hardware with any third-party mobile app. If the operator wants their own custom-branded app, the GMP platform can provide that in just two weeks.
GMP’s platform upgrades physical parking lots into digital mobility hubs with contactless access and cashless payments for commuters and shared mobility fleets. The Cloud GateKit, a new IOT product by Get My Parking, retrofits and integrates all existing access control equipment. It thus enables any parking to go touchless without requiring operators to invest in new access gates.
Chirag Jain, CEO, Get My Parking, commented on the expansion, “We are very excited about this expansion in the US. We have been deploying actively in the US for the last six months but now we can scale our operations swiftly and locally. Till date, we have empowered more than 2500 parking lots around the world to go digital and contactless.”
Get My Parking has performed extensive deployments in Europe and Asia for some of the largest parking operators such as APCOA Parking, which operates across more than 9000 locations in thirteen countries. Its new product, GMP Permit enables a seamless parking permit management for operators and organizations that issue monthly passes to regular parkers.
With the incorporation of the new subsidiary in New Jersey, American operators have easier access to Get My Parking’s interoperable Plug & Play technology as well as its round the clock support for parking administrators. Operators will also find it easier to collaborate with Get My Parking’s American subsidiary with regards to legal and regulatory processes. The team behind GMP is elated that the opening of the new office will significantly accelerate their mission of digitizing the parking industry globally.
