Get My Parking’s smart parking management system lets operators offer their parkers free minutes on their session as discounts. Through the consumer-facing custom-branded app, users can now enjoy a specific number of minutes free of cost in their parking session. This feature has already been successfully deployed for the users of the Elite VIP app, created for Elite Parking, the largest parking operator in Hawaii with car parks across the islands.

The Discount Module on Get My Parking’s smart parking management platform lets operators create various kinds of promotions and offers like Free Time Discounts. These validations can be set up in three easy steps through a centralized admin dashboard in any parking lot that the operator manages. Along with free minutes as discounts, admins can set up various offer types including flat discounts, percentage discounts and an option where the tariff is switched for the parker’s validation.

The admin can set up limits to the frequency of usage of these free time discounts, so that they are not overused or reused in a detrimental manner. They can restrict the number of times a user can use one promo code or set a limit on the number of times one offer or promotion can be used. This way, operators can sell a fixed number of promotions or free minutes to partners and corporate groups.

The promo codes can be customized for specific user groups and user IDs. These user groups can be employees from corporates, hospitals, or shoppers from nearby partner retailers. Admins have the option to set up the free time discounts to be applied automatically for specific user groups so that employees and permit-holders have a hassle-free parking experience.

By setting up such validations, both the partner shops and the parking lot both benefit from more customers, while the parkers get to pay less for their parking. Parkers also have the option to post-pay for parking so that they can avail the promo codes they got while shopping at the retail partners.
