Flowbird Supplies 500 Pay and Display Parking Meters in Bratislava!

Flowbird has initiated an exciting expansion into the picturesque city of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. This is an important milestone in Flowbird’s long-standing partnership with the city, aiming to enhance the standard of urban mobility and meet, if not exceed, the evolving needs of modern cities.

Flowbird's Long-standing Relationship with Bratislava

The relationship between Flowbird and Bratislava began a decade ago with the installation of 58 reliable and efficient Strada Evolution parking meters in the city center, in partnership with BPS, Bratislava parking operator.

Flowbird has played a key role in reshaping the urban parking landscape.

In a significant development, Flowbird’s partner, Saba Group, a leading industrial operator specialising in car park management, installed 165 Strada S5 parking meters across Bratislava in 2022 and 2023.

The Strada S5 isn’t just a parking meter; it’s a flagship cashless device that represents innovation and user-friendliness, making parking a hassle-free experience for residents and visitors. Our machines can connect to Bratislava’s parking management system, offering efficiency and convenience.

A Step Towards a Smarter, More Connected City

The successful deployment of the Strada S5 has led to a further expansion for the period 2023-2026. During this time, Flowbird will deliver an additional 500 units to support the new zones of Bratislava’s PAAS parking system (Bratislava Parking Assistant Service, which provides the capital city with clear rules and conditions applicable to everyone). The system calculates the price based on the license plates and the zones in which people are parking.
