FlashParking Announces Acquisition of ZipPark
Access to Future-ready Technology for Current and Future ZipPark customers
FlashParking, the leader in parking mobility technology, announced today it has completed the acquisition of ZipPark, a Hartford, Connecticut-based valet and event parking company with hundreds of customers in the New England region. The deal provides ZipPark’s customers, including parking facilities at large sports venues such as Yankee Stadium, access to FlashParking’s future-ready parking platform, and its broad ecosystem of smart parking integration and mobility services.
“This acquisition expands how we are executing on our growth strategy and working towards our goal of driving the transformation of the parking industry into a new category,” said FlashParking’s CEO, Dan Sharplin. “We look forward to working with ZipPark’s customers to further integrate end-to-end parking solutions to help manage, streamline, and future-proof their operations.”
The acquisition supports FlashParking’s mission to deliver 21st-century mobility technology and comprehensive parking services powered by FlashOS, the industry’s only mobility hub operating system that integrates end-to-end solutions for PARCS, Valet, and Event Parking. ZipPark customers across airports, hotels, casinos, hospitals, municipal garages, and event parking will benefit from joining a well-established company with a proven mobility technology platform.
“By joining forces with FlashParking, we can ensure our customers have access to the best and most innovative smart parking technology in the industry coupled with FlashParking’s superior 24/7 customer support system,” said Barry Lazowski, owner of ZipPark. “Our customers will now benefit from FlashParking’s end-to-end solutions for parking management and a seamless user experience.”
Under the agreement, ZipPark customers will continue to have access to their current ZipPark technology platforms. Over time, ZipPark customers will have the opportunity to migrate to FlashParking’s FlashOS technology. Migration will begin with valet customers followed by event customers in Q2 of 2021. The terms of the deal are not disclosed.
