EYSA Has Been Awarded The Contract By Gijón City Council For Low-Emission Zone Parking and Access Control System Implementation
The Objective Of The Contract Is To Implement An Access Control System, Capacity Control, Parking Space Control, And Signage For The Low-emission Zone.
Access control will be carried out through license plate recognition cameras. Capacity control cameras will be installed to monitor access conditions, traffic congestion, and alternative routes. Information panels will be placed to provide users with the current environmental quality status and parameters. The system will also enable monitoring of parking occupancy, loading and unloading areas, electric vehicle charging stations, and spaces for people with reduced mobility.
The project includes developing and implementing a mobile application and an integrated management platform for the Low-Emission Zone, catering to residents, visitors, public parking and tourist accommodation managers, freight transport operators, mobility agents, and municipal administrators. The platform will allow comprehensive management of infractions, including processing, resolution, notification, publication, and payment.
This new contract adds to EYSA's extensive experience in implementing Low-Emission Zones, having participated in Madrid360, Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia, ACoruña, Salamanca, Torremolinos, the expansion project for the Madrid City Council to the interior accesses of Madrid Calle 30, S.A., and the accesses to the old town of Seville.
