evopark and EasyPark Expand Cooperation in Europe
Digital Access to 89 Parking Garages in 36 German Cities
EasyPark Group, an internationally operating mobility provider, and evopark, a leading SaaS parking solution provider, are expanding their partnership to create new contactless parking and payment options in parking garages. As in Finland and the Netherlands, where numerous parking garages have already been connected to evopark's vendor-independent mobility CONNECT platform in 2020, the cooperation between the companies now enables the service in Germany as well. For EasyPark users, this means that in the future they will have ticketless, cashless, and contactless access to 89 parking garages in 36 cities - for example in Cologne, Duesseldorf, Munich, Berlin, Stuttgart and Hanover.
Drivers have two options: Either they identify themselves at the entrance with the EasyCard (with RFID chip) or via their license plate.
- The EasyCard is automatically recognized in the vehicle and the barrier opens. As soon as the car leaves the parking garage, the parking time stops and the parking fee is billed via the EasyPark app. Users can access details about parking transactions in the app at any time.
- Several parking garages already have automatic license plate recognition via camera ("CameraPark"). The one-time setup only takes a few minutes in the app. Here, as well, the parking time is automatically recorded and billed via the EasyPark app.

Expansion of digital parking facilities
"We are excited to expand our partnership with evopark/Scheidt & Bachmann. In Germany, digital parking solutions are more in demand than ever. Now is the time to set trends together," says Nico Schlegel, Managing Director of EasyPark GmbH. "With the connection to mobility CONNECT, we can offer our customers many new parking options." Henk de Bruin, Managing Director of evopark, adds, "We are joining our expertise and can thus decisively advance the digital offering nationwide. Particularly in the otherwise highly fragmented parking market, this is an enormous advantage, both for mobility CONNECT's partners and for its users."
