12 New EV Meter Pay² Charging Stations Installed In Harrogate
Available to the public, the new installation of 12 EV Meter Pay² Charging Stations is a welcome addition for visitors to Harrogate, local residents, and those who have already switched to electric cars at the magnificent Rudding Park.
The EV Meter Pay² is the ideal EV charging solution for commercial or public locations including shopping centers, hotels, workplaces, parking facilities, and municipalities.
This universal charging station is equipped with a built-in card reader that accepts every major payment method including debit and credit cards, digital wallets, QR codes, prepaid, NFC, and more. By providing EV Drivers with a quick and convenient way to pay, you won’t miss out on a single sale and your customers will enjoy a seamless charging experience. As a payment facilitator, EV Meter process all payments and ensures only pre-authorized transactions so that you could focus on growing your business.
Electricity is provided by Rudding Park Energy Centre, so each of the 22kw units emits 30% less carbon dioxide than normal grid-supplied chargers. With the most up-to-date technologies and sufficient electricity supply, a fast and consistent charge can be ensured.
Matthew Mackaness MRICS, Rudding Park Director, said: “As a responsible business it is vital we do our bit and ensure the environment is at the heart of all business decisions. We teamed up with Adam Utley at Yorkshire-based Utley-EV to design and install the project and they specified Pilot Group Ltd charge points for their ‘tap and go’ functionality."
