EasyPark: Fifth Consecutive Year of Growth in Digital Parking

EasyPark Group today released figures showing substantial growth in digital parking across Europe in 2019, which continues the streak of rapid expansion for the fifth consecutive year. Group CEO, Johan Birgersson, says that the numbers are the result of another year where hard work and determination paved the way for the growth of EasyPark, as well as the parking industry as a whole.

“Overall, we saw an increase in the number of digital parking by more than 30 percent since last year, which demonstrates the demand for digital parking solutions across Europe. The large growth in newer markets, such as Belgium and the Netherlands, are exciting to see while more established markets continues to show positive results,” he said.

2018 was an eventful year for EasyPark with the launch of Belgium and Slovenia as well as the Find & Park-service in all markets across Europe. So far, 2019 seem to be equally as eventful with the launch of EasyPark in Switzerland and Serbia as well as the partnership with Q-park in Belgium. Furthermore, international audit and consulting company, Deloitte, recently named EasyPark one of it’s “Best Managed Companies” of 2019 and EasyPark was awarded with the German Mobility Award for Find & Park.

“This year we grew to cover 1200 cities throughout 15 markets, complimented by over 100 commercial contracts. This year is set to be another busy one for us, as we continue to improve our services and expand our coverage across Europe.
