EasyPark launches app for Windows Phones

Following the success of last year's launch of the EasyPark phone parking service on the iOS and Android platforms – EasyPark has teamed up with the Connecta subsidiary Tarento to build the new Windows Phone Application.

EasyPark’s current apps are already among the most successful applications in their field, enabling more than 1 000 000 parking sessions in their first 10 months of existence.

The new EasyPark Windows app will in its first version present the same core functionality as the other platforms with the addition of an in-app registration possibility. Following releases during 2012 will include geo-location and other add-on services.

“We see an increasing number of EasyPark customers changing to Windows Phones and since user experience goes before anything – this is highly prioritized”, says Johan Thalin, Chief Marketing Officer.

EasyPark’s Windows Phone app, which is a joint initiative between EasyPark, Nokia and Microsoft, is scheduled for release in August this year. The release will be followed by extensive promotion in Nokias and Microsofts communication channels.
