PM ABACUS in Munich's Laim commercial park

Smaller trade and commercial enterprises have difficulty finding centrally located and professional equipped premises in large cities. This is something understood also by the city council of the Bavarian metropolis. That is why they started setting up a network of "commercial parks" where the tenants can find optimum working conditions back in the 1980s. The latest step in the supporting concept is the Gewerbehof Laim in the district of the same name.

Some 50 widely differing companies have set up business there on around 11,000 m2 floor area – and that has also led to a great deal of activity on the car parks and in the underground car park. In order that the parking situation should also live up to professional expectations, the commercial park operator MGH decided in favour of PM ABACUS. The focus here is not so much on the economic aspect as on the necessity for having parking space available for the tenants and visitors in this central location. That is no problem, of course, with the extensive season parker functions of our premium system. The fact that PM ABACUS can also be perfectly integrated into an existing architectural concept is reflected by the compact pay station integrated into a letterbox system.

"We are very satisfied with the whole system which in the meantime has proven itself admirably in practice," says Andreas Kopp, responsible project manager at MGH, in a very positive assessment. The next commercial park is to be set up in the north of Munich – and DESIGNA is already looking forward to continuing its active support for small and medium-sized enterprises!
