Ireland flies high on quality from Kiel

Alongside Dublin, Shannon Airport is considered as one of Ireland's main airports, which DESIGNA will now equip with the highly reliable and innovative PM ABACUS system.

This major project involves an investment of over 750,000 € and includes parking spaces for coaches, 800 spaces for airport employees and 4000 short and long-stay parking spaces for flight passengers. Through the implementation of internationally-renowned hard and software standards, coupled with the transparent interface design and its almost unlimited scalability, the PM ABACUS system is the perfect solution for the complexity and demanding challenges posed by this airport. The project has also enabled DESIGNA to consolidate its market position and international competitiveness even further.

Our team has been on site since September and the system will be put into operation at the end of November" explains DESIGNA Sales Director Stefan Koch. This project places considerable demands on integration and networking. In light of this, the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) opted for our highly successful PM ABACUS system for this major project adds Koch.
