First Designa CONNECT Installations in South Africa with Netcare

We are very happy to announce that the first CONNECT installations in South Africa were made in cooperation with Netcare and implemented by our partner Servest.

Netcare is the leading Private Healthcare Provider in South Africa with several hospitals all over the country and a very important client of ours.

Hospital parking faces specific challenges. The facilities usually have to cater for different groups with different needs. Also, when visiting a hospital, parking is the last thing people should have on their minds. This asks for a reliable and smooth operation.

DESIGNA is an expert in creating individualized and highly flexible parking solutions, adapting them to any unique needs that clients might have. With DESIGNA's and Servest's expertise, Netcare has made significant enhancements to their parking infrastructure across various locations.

Part of this project was a personalized software and a local server. All of the locations got equipped with Barcode Scan & Go and the integration of the App “Zapper”, with which visitors can pay their tickets easily with their phone. Highly flexible and integrated into the users reality – so that they can focus on their visit.

For the hardware, we opted for the CONNECT series with our CONNECT LANE devices, CASH & CARD and CASHLESS PAY STATIONS.

In detail, we installed:

• Netcare Montanna: 4 LANES, 2 PAY STATIONS
• Netcare Milpark: 18 LANES, 5 PAY STATIONS
• Netcare The Bay: 3 LANES, 2 PAY STATIONS
• Netcare Sunninghill: 2 LANES, 2 PAY STATIONS

We feel honoured and happy to have finished this project together with our partner Servest and look forward to pursue this partnership with Netcare Hospitals.
