Aupark Bratislava – DESIGNA helps shoppers access the largest shopping centre in Slovakia

Shopping is a delight here, and DESIGNA is part of it. At Aupark Bratislava our partner, DPPS, s.r.o. has installed the ABACUS parking system for around 3,000 parking spaces. This is a great honour and a great project – after all, the Aupark is the biggest shopping centre in Slovakia.

For the 8 parking areas, including two internal residential parking zones, a total of 24 lanes have been installed, of which 12 are only for season parkers who are able to enter and exit easily using the contact-free ticket system.

In other respects too, the project boasts pioneering technical equipment: the parking guidance system accelerates the search for a parking space and optimises the flow of traffic. The fully-integrated license plate recognition system increases security and convenience.

In 10 project locations the DESIGNA off-line discount units, which do not require a network connection and can thus be used in an extremely flexible manner, are used.

With their unique operating concept and high-quality design, the Pay-type automatic pay stations integrate flawlessly into the modern shopping environment. All 12 automatic pay stations offer secure payment by credit card and PIN.

In an excellent location on the routes between Vienna, Prague and Budapest, Aupark is home to more than 200 shops and restaurants. In addition, a cinema, fitness studio and bowling alley ensure that a visit means unlimited leisure enjoyment.
