Networked future: a new US managing director for DESIGNA
Since 1 January this year, DESIGNA has had a new face in the USA. Bob Kane has taken over the reins and he is anything but a newcomer when it comes to access and parking.
His previous role, since 2008, was in strategic development at Federal APD, the largest industry player in the United States.
Bob Kane will be able to make profitable use of his detailed market knowledge in his new position. In particular DESIGNA is providing new impetus in the US market in terms of networking and ASP (Application Service Providing) - subjects that, thanks to the vast size of the country and the often large distances between sites, are particularly relevant.
"Bob Kane's expertise and the technological potential of PM ABACUS will jointly provide significant stimuli to the US business in 2011 ," says DESIGNA's managing director, Dr. Thomas Waibel, who is looking to the future with great optimism.
