Elavon Wins Mobile Payment Award at 2013 Merchant Payment Ecosystem in Berlin

Elavon, the global acquirer, is the victorious winner of last night’s Mobile Payment Award 2013 at the Merchant Payments Ecosystem event in Berlin.

Picked by a panel of independent European payment experts, the winning solution ensures that businesses on the go can accept Visa® and MasterCard® credit and debit cards. Authorised through Chip and PIN on a fully certified PIN pad, Elavon MobileMerchant works in conjunction with a smartphone or tablet. The solution was developed in collaboration with Elavon and CreditCall and was first launched in the UK in January 2012 and in the Republic of Ireland in October 2012.
