How Many Banknote Denominations Should One Recycle?
An increasing number of automated applications today have to dispense cash to the end user, either for change giveback or for other reasons. When it comes to banknotes, OEMs (and Operators) are presented with two types of devices that can fulfill this function in the end machine: dispensers and recyclers.
As the operational benefits of cash recycling become increasingly recognized, more Operators are requesting that OEMs adopt this class of devices in their end machines. However, in contrast to banknote dispensers, which are relatively simple and easily scalable devices, banknote recyclers are much more of a sophisticated breed. Therefore, determining which banknote recycler is the right choice for the application may be a challenging task, given the variety of features and capabilities of recyclers in the market today.
