International standard for electric cars
The European Commission has agreed on the first standards for Electric Vehicles and Hybrid in terms of safety, recharging after a meeting hosted in Ginebra.
This technical regulation stablish some rules of the uses of high voltage power at EV (about 500Vdc) to be safe for the user in terms of protection while recharging, avoid cabling possible damage to the user, etc..
