CIRCONTROL wins project for the parking guidance system at the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The company KLCC Parking Snd Bhd, a subsidiary of the KLCC Holding, Petronas Malaysian group, has chosen through a public competition, the Spanish company Circontrol for providing the parking guidance system for 5150 places in the underground garage of the building known as "Petronas Towers" in the center of Kuala Lumpur.

The act of signing of the contract took place last August 29th in the same building "Petronas". A large representation of attendants from KLCC Parking, headed by Mr. Shamsudin Bin Ishak (Head of the company), were present at the signature act. From Circontrol attended Joan Hinojo (General Manager) and Moises Barea (Export Manager) and managers of the local firms subcontracted. Mr. Luis Maria Lopez Moreno, commercial counselor at the Spanish Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, rubric turn the contract, as a witness.

During the last three years Circontrol has made other projects in the area of Southeast Asia, such as the iconic skyscraper Marina Bay Sands in Singapore or the IKEA shopping center in the same city, and many others, a fact that undoubtedly has been instrumental in the decision to KLCC Parking for choose the Circontrol technology.

The parking guidance system will allow the drivers to find quickly the available spaces thus saving time and will provide a great improvement in the safety of the parking lot. With the new system "Find Your Car", the driver can also locate their vehicles in case they forget where they parked. The parking operator, in this case get KLCC Parking, in turn, will increase daily car rotation, energy savings and a better image of the car park, which will be more welcoming, efficient and modern. The flexibility in parking will provide more customers and more time for visitors to enjoy the shopping mall, thus being able to shop, meals or other recreational activities more relaxed and with more time.
