Circontrol: Why Are Interoperability Tests a Key Factor?
Charger-vehicle interoperability is one of the most important factors to consider when choosing which charging station to install in a home, business, or other locations. In fact, ensuring a good end-user experience is a key factor, and ensuring that charging will be optimal regardless of the vehicle model and charging conditions is fundamental to achieving this goal.
For this reason, Circontrol has already carried out tests with more than 70 models of up to 40 different electric vehicle manufacturers (cars, buses, and trucks) in its laboratory in Barcelona or at the manufacturers’ own facilities. Circontrol’s entire range of smart charging solutions – from home charging to fast charging on motorways, including heavy vehicle charging – is subjected to these strict interoperability tests, guaranteeing full compatibility with almost all vehicle models on the market.
In addition, the conditions of use for each charger must also be taken into account when choosing it to ensure optimal operation. Thus, in the event of extreme cold or heat, the range of vehicles may vary -as explained in this article-, and the efficiency of the charge may be compromised. For this reason, during each device's development phase, Circontrol tests them in its climatic chamber where extreme cold, heat, and humidity conditions are reproduced to guarantee perfect operation in the least favorable conditions.
All these tests guarantee an optimal experience for drivers, regardless of the vehicle of each user and the specific charging conditions in which it takes place. This experience is also reflected in the design of all our solutions, which are designed to be as practical, simple, and robust as possible, adapting to the demands of the environment and contributing to comfortable, simple, and efficient loading.
