Circontrol Introduces a New Chief Product Officer
An electronic engineer by profession, and a lover of technology, electronics, and renewable energy, the new Chief Product Officer (CPO), Aleix Massana, of Circontrol has worked with the product from all angles throughout his career. However, if he had to choose one, it would be the most marketing-oriented angle, as it allows him to be in contact with the market and add value through the products.
With more than thirteen years of experience at Schneider Electric and, more recently, having led the Solit Energía project, a benchmark for self-consumption in Catalonia, he came to Circontrol with the mission of managing product strategy and accelerating time to market.
The main challenge he faces is to become more agile in terms of product development, particularly in the AC product range. “We really know how to make products. We undoubtedly have the know-how, and we should add value to the market more frequently,” he added.
When asked about Circontrol’s products, he emphasized the importance of user experience as a key factor in the coming years and for future products. As a result of the thorough overhaul of our mission, vision, and values, carried out by the company recently, the perspective of EV drivers has been highlighted. “We are going to deepen this aspect, definitely, but also others, because the EV charging market is constantly evolving and there are many changes to come, regulatory and societal in terms of habits. We must keep an eye on the market’s needs,” he concluded.
