Launch of a Call for Projects to Support the Electrification of Heavy Vehicles and the Installation of Charging Stations in France
The French Ministers for Energy Transition, Industry and Transport have announced the opening of a call for projects entitled “Ecosystems of heavy electric vehicles” for 2023. With a budget of 60 million euros, this call for projects aims to support the acquisition of electric trucks and coaches, as well as the installation of charging stations adapted to their use.
The beneficiaries of this subsidy are carriers and manufacturers of heavy vehicles who wish to renew their fleet with electric vehicles and install charging stations. The amount of aid can reach up to 65% of the additional cost linked to the acquisition of a heavy electric vehicle, with specific limits depending on the maximum weight of the vehicle.
In addition, the installation of charging stations will be supported by up to 60% of eligible investment costs, including civil engineering costs.
Projects can be submitted until September 29th, 2023, on the Agir Pour La Transition platform and are also accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises.
