The brief was to install nearly 8400m2 of Boligrip, a slip-resistant floor finishing system developed especially for car park applications.

In addition, the car park incorporates convenient amenities such as bicycle maintenance stations. This encourages cyclists to keep their bikes in optimal condition and further reduces the overall environmental impact. Car Park Sluishuis boasts a diverse range of Bolidt flooring solutions for parking facilities:

• 2,200 m2 of Boligrip® 50R, slip-resistant up to 2 mm thick floor finishing systems based on two-component, solvent-free, waterborne synthetic resins. The systems in the series have been specially developed for application in car parks and other parking facilities

• 2,000 m2 of Boligrip® 50P, vapour open flooring, which is why they are used specifically in the lowest underground levels with ground water underneath the floors. The inert materials broadcast and incorporated into the pigmented compound have a Polished Stone Value (PSV) of at least 77, producing a non-slip and very wear-resistant finish.

• 1,500 m2 of Boligrip® 200P, slip-resistant up to 2 mm thick floor finishing systems based on two-component, solvent-free synthetic resins. The systems in the series have been specially developed for application in car parks and other parking facilities.

• 2,500 m2 of Boligrip® 200R, used specifically on the parking levels. The inert materials broadcast and incorporated into the pigmented compound have a polished stone value (PSV) of 77, producing a non-slip and very wear-resistant finish.

• 270 m2 of Boligrip® WH, which has been specifically developed for application on ramps. Boligrip WH is slip resistant, robust and extremely durable. The Boligrip WH system is seamless, durable, liquid tight, low maintenance and applied on site by in-house specialists. The colour of the systems in the Boligrip W series is determined by the colour of the natural aggregate.
