Optimized Parking Solutions From Astron Buildings

Astron Buildings is thrilled to announce the beginning of the construction for the Diekirch Train Station car park. This project is a key component of the Nordstad development, aimed at enhancing mobility in the heart of a new hub in central Luxembourg. Astron long term Builder partner Mabilux has been entrusted with the construction of this cutting-edge parking facility known as "Parkhaus Gare."

The Parkhaus Gare will span 5 levels and provide parking space for 656 vehicles. This state-of-the-art infrastructure incorporates a roof with solar panels and electric vehicle charging stations. Surrounding the parking silo, green spaces will be meticulously integrated to harmonize the structure with the urban landscape.

The Car park site, situated at the intersection of Rue de l'Industrie and Avenue de la Gare, occupies the former CFL P&R parking area and the former ANF parking lot.

This project represents another milestone in Astron Mobility commitment to delivering innovative and integrated parking solutions. Stay tuned as we transform this vision into a reality, enhancing mobility for Diekirch and its residents.

As well as that, Astron is busy building a hospital car park, offering 1,300 spaces on three floors, completing the parking offer that aims to provide hospital staff, patients and visitors with optimized parking solutions.

The project replaces an old, outdated car park that was not very functional because it had complicated vehicle flow and pedestrian flow, so the hospital wanted to put user-friendliness at the heart of the project.

Careful coordination by the Astron Mobility teams is required to ensure efficient assembly on a minimum surface without disrupting the activity on the hospital site, while minimizing any nuisance related to the construction site. The available land is small, located between the railway line and the hospital buildings, making this project a real challenge!

With the large flow of patients generated by the CHRSM Site Meuse, this new infrastructure is essential to meet the growing demand for parking, while providing a welcoming environment and a secure and optimized pathway for patients.
