The Guest is King at Hotel Royer Following the Installation of Arivo’s Innovative Smart Parking Solution

At the Superior Sport- und Seminarhotel Royer the guest is truly cared for as a royal. From the arrival to the end of the stay, the comfort and fulfilment of the customer's wishes is the clear focus. By using the smart car park management with automatic license plate recognition, the guest's journey already starts with a special service.

If a guest is travelling by car, he receives an invitation and can register his number plate upfront. This allows the guest to enter and leave the car park conveniently during the entire stay, without the need for additional tickets or access keys. The license plate is recognized and the barriers open automatically upon arrival and departure.

Fiegl+Spielberger, the largest electrical engineering company in Western Austria, has provided a secure solution with its barrier system and the use of Arivo park management software. Two problem areas are solved in a practical way: The usage of the car park by unauthorized persons can now be successfully avoided. In addition, the access for suppliers such as the baker or the delivery service is completely autonomous. The reception desk does not have to be manned for this or interrupt the guest service.

"Since mid-July, the new parking solution at the Hotel Royer has been operational and more than 5,000 entries have been processed without any problems," says Meinhard Berger, Head of Greentec at Fiegl+Spielberger. "Additional security against unauthorized use of the parking lot is provided by the direction recognition function. The planned interface with the hotel software will offer the additional advantage that guests will be automatically registered via this software and no additional set-up of client data in the park management system is necessary. This will further reduce the administrative overhead".
