APCOA: Viale Monza Parking Is Paid for With Telepass

At the facility managed by APCOA, the new secure parking payment service via the Telepass device is now active

- Milan
The innovative system allows you to easily access the affiliated car parks using the Telepass device.

Telepass’ in-structure parking payment service has arrived at Viale Monza Parking in Milan, the 2-level underground multi-storey car park with 100 parking spaces and 17 motorbike spaces. The facility, located in Viale Monza 137/139 in the new NoLo district in the north-east of Milan, is at the centre of a service area and adjacent to the M1 Turro stop on the Red Line of the Milan Metro, just 7 stops from the Duomo.

Thanks to the collaboration with Apcoa Italia SpA, a company that manages the parking service with more than 200 parking lots throughout Italy, it is now possible, using the Telepass device, to enter and exit the parking lot of the structure without a ticket, nor queues at the cash desk and cash.

The innovative system allows you to easily access the affiliated car parks using the Telepass device, just like on the motorway: you will only need to identify the lanes, identified by special Telepass signs at the entrance and exit of the facilities, and wait for the barrier to rise after the beep to set off again without stopping to pay at the cash desk.

Anyone in possession of a Telepass device will be able to access the affiliated car parks and the parking fee will be charged to the Telepass account without additional costs according to the methods set out in your contract. It is also possible, by downloading the Telepass app, to make your own expense report by accessing the parking archive present in the app.

“With the launch of the service at the Viale Monza Parking in Milan, Telepass reaches another important milestone thanks to the fruitful collaboration with Apcoa Italia SpA - said Aldo Agostinelli, Chief Consumer and Marketing Officer of Telepass. - The facility joins the 380 car parks in airports, stations, hospitals, urban centres and trade fairs throughout Italy where the service is already active. In the current scenario, Telepass' challenge is to offer a network of services that give people the opportunity to move freely, in an integrated, safe and sustainable way”.

Open 24 hours a day, Viale Monza Parking is equipped with the most modern management technologies: the access, exit and payment flows at the automatic cash register are entrusted to latest-generation systems developed by “HUB Parking”.

There will be 13 video surveillance cameras positioned throughout the entire structure to guarantee safety for all users. The car park boasts 100 parking spaces and 17 spaces for rotating motorbikes for the service of citizens, workers and tourists, divided into the two underground floors, with different intended uses: 4 spaces for city cars, 2 spaces dedicated to people with reduced mobility and 4 spaces for electric charging with 2 EV Charging stations.

Parking payment in the facility is the second service that Telepass integrated in 2010 and today the Telepass offer is the most widespread in the country with 380 affiliated facilities in Italy and more than 700 in France, Spain and Portugal. The company's mission is to simplify people's lives through its digital ecosystem of mobility services designed around the person and increasingly focused on urban centers. Thanks to the Telepass device, for example, it is possible to directly access the Area C of Milan, pay for blue lines, electric charging or fuel or buy the ticket for the Strait of Messina without getting out of the car.

The Parking service is included and active in all Telepass offers and customers can view the facilities both on the website and from the App.
