TIO TIO Opens Germany’s First Rooftop Padel Venue in Berlin Friedrichshain

Berlin-based padel brand TIO TIO has opened the TIO TIO Hub at Victoria Center in Berlin in collaboration with Germanys leading parking operator APCOA and Art-Invest Real Estate. For APCOA, this marks a significant step in its Urban Hubs strategy and the associated mission to create a vibrant padel ecosystem that seamlessly blends sports and social activities with lifestyle, design, and sustainability.

Following the successful launch of TIO TIO’s first collection of padel apparel and equipment in 2022, as well as organizing social padel tournaments across various European metropoles, TIO TIO & APCOA have now introduced something exceptional and unique – the TIO TIO Hub. This project, developed with strategic partners APCOA and Art-Invest Real Estate, owner of the building, is situated atop the Victoria Center at Marktstraße 6, 10317 Berlin. The TIO TIO Hub stands as Germany’s first rooftop padel venue and the largest pure outdoor padel venue in Berlin.

This Hub features five outdoor panorama courts, a café, a brand showroom exclusively showcasing TIO TIO apparel and equipment, fully equipped locker rooms, and several social spaces. Renowned architects Hirschmüller and Schindele supported the architectural design. By utilizing a previously unused space, the TIO TIO Hub is perfectly appropriate to fit into APCOA’s Urban Hubs strategy - and serves as a model for modern urban planning and city development.

The design of the TIO TIO Hub is deeply rooted in TIO TIO’s brand idea of creating "a social padel brand with a contemporary look and feel." In addition to integrating design icons such as a restored K67 kiosk by Slovenian industrial designer Sasa Mächtig, the TIO TIO Hub boasts a 260-square-meter wooden terrace area equipped with all-weather greenery.
