APCOA PARKING Germany Expands Partnership with Düsseldorf Airport
APCOA PARKING Deutschland GmbH has won the tender for parking space management in the “Kiss & Fly Zone” at Düsseldorf Airport. In addition to several multi-storey car parks with short- and long-term parking spaces, the company now also operates priority management on the departure level of Düsseldorf Airport, thereby expanding its presence. Air travelers, visitors and people collecting people can park there free of charge for up to seven minutes between entry and exit. In 2022, Düsseldorf Airport was the largest airport in North Rhine-Westphalia with around 16 million passengers a year.

APCOA PARKING Germany controls the flow of traffic and the parking time in the Kiss & Fly zone with barrier systems and number plate recognition. As a result, the parking time is automatically determined and the parking process is particularly convenient for customers. If the free stay time of seven minutes is exceeded, a fee will be charged, which can be paid with all common payment methods. The recorded data will be deleted after a few hours, provided no traffic violation has occurred.
