APCOA Is Right On Track With Network Rail
APCOA PARKING (UK) has been awarded a new five-year management services’ contract with Network Rail, the owner and operator of Britain’s railway infrastructure.
The new deal, which commences on 1 April 2014, extends APCOA’s existing five and a half-year term with the railway infrastructure company until 2019.
With passenger numbers expected to rise considerably by 2020, APCOA’s UK commercial parking services’ team will focus on delivering sustainable growth to the Network Rail car parking estate, enhancing the customer experience through operating safe and secure car parking and supplying a wide range of e-Commerce solutions. APCOA will continue to provide a full end-to-end service, which supports Network Rail’s aspiration to deliver an exceptional customer experience to the travelling public.
APCOA’s new deal with Network Rail cements its position as the largest operator of rail station car parks in the UK, which is underpinned by APCOA’s unique ability to deliver innovative unique and bespoke ‘best in class’ parking and payment solutions. It is substantiated through a powerful in-house analytics’ reporting system, which is used to identify parking trends and allow granular analysis of data to assist with planning of future parking provision, intelligent deployment of staff, delivery of an enhanced customer journey experience and tariff optimisation.
The new contract will be supported by state-of-the-art technology – similar to that currently deployed at the UK’s major international airports. It will provide Network Rail with enforcement permit management and cashless parking, as well as other bespoke pre-booking and incident reporting systems.
