APCOA and MOBIAN Stimulate Sustainable Last-mile Solution for Cities Through New Collaboration

MOBIAN and APCOA have entered into a partnership and, with this innovative mobility concept, they will further contribute to an increased quality of life in the inner cities of Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

This agreement with APCOA is the latest milestone for MOBIAN and its MobiHubs. Rewarding visitors to major cities with a shared bicycle, when they park outside the city center, is part of MOBIAN's vision.

With these MobiHubs, MOBIAN offers residents, companies, and visitors to the city an attractive service. Facilitating MobiHubs, in which they can always park and use various bicycles to easily cover the last kilometers to their final destination, fits seamlessly with APCOA's sustainable ambitions. In collaboration with partners such as MOBIAN, APCOA is converting parking facilities into APCOA URBAN HUBS and adding functions such as charging facilities, (electric) shared transport, and last-mile logistics.

MOBIAN provides a practical app that provides easy access to the parking lot and additional mobility. In this way, MOBIAN gives access to APCOA garages and offers customers the use of a shared bicycle. By collaborating with APCOA, MOBIAN is expanding its existing network, making it even more attractive for the end-user. MOBIAN is also expanding the number of bicycles available and can thus contribute more and more to accessibility from the outskirts of the city and thus a car-free city center with an improved quality of life.

APCOA manages and operates more than 1.5 million parking spaces in more than 9,500 locations in 13 European countries and distinguishes itself by connecting consumers, cars, and parking garages through technology and services. APCOA thus has an extensive network of parking facilities and is the ideal partner to further expand the existing network of MobiHubs, especially as they fit perfectly with MOBIAN's ambitions.

As of April 1, the first two MobiHubs in Rotterdam, as well as two new MobiHubs in Amsterdam, will be launched together by APCOA and MOBIAN. Several locations will follow in both cities during the year.
