Scheidt & Bachmann and APCOA Modernize Parking at KII in Düsseldorf

At KII 660 parking spaces are available on five levels for short and long-term parkers.

With the modern underground car park KII/Schauspielhaus (formerly Kö-Bogen II), further underground parking facilities are now available in Düsseldorf city center. In addition to the high level of comfort and the magnetic effect of the striking architectural commercial and office building ensemble, which was built by the CENTRUM Group and the B&L Group, it is thus an attractive starting point for adventure or shopping trip into the city center of the state capital.

APCOA PARKING Deutschland has taken over the operation of the car park and relies again on the innovative parking technology of Scheidt & Bachmann. A barcode system in combination with number plate recognition is used. With dynamic pricing, the tariffs are adjusted according to the capacity utilization. And, at KII, users of APCOA FLOW have another location for the digital parking experience. There is no need to pull out tickets at the entrance and walk to the pay machine as a personal RFID chip opens the barriers contactlessly and the parking time is paid for using the stored payment method.

660 parking spaces are available on five levels for short and long-term parkers. An interface to Parkeyes has been set up so that guests can quickly and easily find the parking space for their car when they return to the underground car park. When paying at the automatic pay station, the parking space is simultaneously shown on the display.

Electric cars can be charged at 24 E.ON charging points. A flat rate has been set up for theatre visitors and as an opening offer, parking is free of charge for customers in September.
