Leeds Bradford Installs Second Vehicle DRS System

As part of the major redevelopment and expansion of Leeds Bradford Airport, its latest Meet & Greet service which offers Customers the convenience of dropping of their vehicle less than 100m from the Terminal Front, has included its second Vehicle DRS (Damage Recording System) from ANPR International.

The new Meet & Greet parking facility started construction shortly after the opening of the Airport's first Vehicle DRS system in April this year for its Viking Parking service. The purpose of both systems are the same and will ensure that the condition of Customers vehicles are accurately recorded in full HD images, before the vehicle is left with the Valet Parking Team.

As part of the solution, the ANPR data from the Vehicle DRS system is fed into the booking system supplied by ParkIT Solutions which allows the system to make service staff aware of a pre-booked Customers arrival as well as displaying to each Customer a personalised greeting messages on-screen in the imaging booth.
